Proxy settings

Soluling calls REST APIs to get information from the Soluling server and to communicate with 3rd party services such as machine translators. If you have configured a proxy server at the operating system level, Soluling tries to detect it when starting. If found, Soluling will use the same proxy. This default action is enabled when Use a proxy server is set to Default, if any.

If you want to use a custom proxy server, set Use a proxy server to Custom, enter the proxy server's address to the Address field, and port the proxy server to the Port field. If your proxy requires a user name and password, enter them in the User Name and Password fields.

Set the Use a proxy server to No to use no proxy server.

Click the Clear button to clear the current proxy settings. You can test your proxy settings by clicking the Test button. If the test fails, check the address and port values, make sure that you have entered the right user name and password (if needed).
