Select File Type |
Whenever you select a file to be localized or imported, Soluling must choose the parser it uses when reading the file. In most cases, Soluling can automatically select a parser that will be used. However, some file formats, especially if you have a custom file extension, can not be detected, or we might have two or more parsers for the same file extension. In that case, Soluling shows this dialog that lets you choose the file format and/or parser that is used.
In some situations, there is more than one parser available for the operation. For example, if you import a TMX file into your project, Soluling can use two parsers. One is to import a localized TMX file into a project that contains the original TMX. Another is to import translations from a TMX file to your project. In this case, Soluling shows this dialog so you can choose what parser to use.
If the file extension of the selected file is unknown to Soluling, Remember the selection checkbox will be visible. Check it if you want Soluling to remember your selection. If checked, next time you add the same file type, Soluling will automatically use the right parser without asking for a file type.
