Standard Glossary Properties

Use this sheet to specify the properties of TBX or TMX glossaries.

Default subject

Specifies the default subject that is used if the file does not contain any subject information. This value is optional, and you can leave it empty.

Use proprietary file format

If unchecked, the file uses the standard TBX or TMX format. If checked, the file uses a proprietary, non-standard format. If you check this, then the following items will become visible.

For example, http://www.dicts.info/ uses a non-standard TBX file format that does not contain real language codes but pseudo-codes such as L1, L2.

Some glossary files do not use separate entries for term synonyms but have all the term variants in a single string separated by a separator character or string. If your files use such a non-standard format, check this check box and select or enter the separator character(s).

Map following language id

Some glossary files do not contain real language ids such as en or de-AT but non-standard pseudo-codes such as L1 and L2. Uses this list view to map those pseudo language codes into real language codes.
