Language

Use this dialog to view or edit an available language. If the language you selected is a language known by Windows, you can not edit the language properties but only view them. If the language is a custom language added by you, you can edit language properties.

Enter the English or localized language name into the Language name field.

Enter the native language name into the Native language name field. A native name is the name of the language in the language itself. For example, the native language name for German is Deutsch.

Enter ISO-639 language id into the ISO-639 language code field.

In the Script field, select the script that the language uses.

The above properties are mandatory, and they must be given. The remaining properties are optional, and they are only needed with legacy applications, such as applications using code pages.

Enter the Windows code in the Windows code field. Windows code is the legacy 2 or 3 character code specifying the language. For example, English is EN, and English (United States) is ENU.

Enter the Primary language id as decimal in the Primary language id field. Primary language id is the legacy integer id specifying the language. For example, English is 9, and German is 7. For a user-defined ids use a value from 512 to 1023.

Default Windows code page specifies the windows code page (if any) that the language uses.

Default ISO code page specifies the ISO code page (if any) that the language uses.

Default Mac code page specifies the Mac code page (if any) that the language uses.

Default legacy code page specifies the DOS code page (if any) that the language uses.

Use the Image filename field to enter an optional image file name that is used together with the language name in Soluling's user interface.
