Windows Forms Mappings

Soluling's Windows Forms form editor uses the real Windows Forms components to show the localized form. For all other components such as 3rd party or your own components, a component mapping is used. Use this sheet to set the mappings that specify how to show 3rd party and custom Windows Forms control in the form editor.

Filter

You can enter a filter string to show only specific mappings.

If there is no camming for the component, then the editor shows a yellow box that shows the location and size of the component but not the content.

Check Show mappings of the parent items if you want to show the mappings of the parent items too.

Note! Mapping is not required for localization. It is used for convenience to provide better visual editing. Use scan rules to specify what properties are localized.
