Images

Use this dialog to assigning one or more images to the node. When assigned, the application shows the images of the selected node in the editor window. This makes it possible to provide visual information in the case when there is no user interface, or Soluling can not show the user interface (e.g., user interface belongs to a mobile application that cannot be shown on PC).

Image list

The list on the left side shows the images you have added. You can scroll down or up to see move images. You can reorder the images by using Up and Down buttons. Click Delete to remove the selected image. Click Delete All to remove all images.

Adding images

You can add images by selecting an image file, pasting from the clipboard, or directly taking a screenshot from the emulator window. If you have an exiting image file, you want to add click Load from File. This will insert the image data of the image file into your Soluling project file. If you don't want to insert the actual image data, but only the file link, click Link File. This will only add the filename into your Soluling project file. If you plan to send the project file to translators, you should not link image files but insert them. Otherwise, your translators can not see the images.

If the clipboard contains an image Paste from Clipboard button is enabled. If clicked, Soluling will insert the content of the clipboard image into the project.

If you want to add an image from an emulator application such as Android or iOS emulators, you can automatically take the screenshot, convert the image, and add it by clicking Take Screenshot button. This button is enabled if the selected node belongs to a source that uses an emulator (e.g. Android) and the emulator application is currently running.
