Translation of Duplicates

Specifies how duplicate strings are translated.

As you type settings

Specifies if the translate candidate window will contain the existing translations of the same strings.

Uncheck Include duplicates to the candidate window if you want to turn this feature off.

Check Match case to show only those translations where the original value fully matches the current original value. If unchecked, the case is ignored.

Uncheck Use only translations having status at least to ignore the status check. If checked, only translations having the same or higher translation status will be used. If checked, select the translation status you want to use as a threshold.

After editing settings

Specifies if similar strings are automatically translated after you have edited a string.

Check Translate duplicates after editing if you want that whenever you enter as a translation, the application checks if other rows with the same original string exist and translates them with the same value.

Check Only untranslated items if you want that only untranslated items are included to the duplicate translation. So if checked, the existing translations are not changed or event not shown in the duplicate row list.

Check Ignore when fixing if you want Soluling ignores the duplicate translation when you click the Fix button in the status column.

Check Show items in a dialog before translating duplicates if you want that the application prompts before overwriting existing values of the duplicate rows with the just edited value. If not checked, no prompting is done, and existing values of the duplicate rows are just overwritten.

Check Show items on a dialog even if only untranslated items if you want that the application prompts before translating untranslated the duplicate rows with the just edited value. If not checked, no prompting is done, and all the duplicate rows are just set.

Translation status specifies how the status of the translation will be set when the translation value will be translated using duplicate value. Possible values are:

Value	Description
Use editing status	Set the translation status to the default translation status of the edited value. By default, this is Translated.
Use the import status	Set the translation status to the value specified in the import settings. You can change the status value that is used.
Set to	Set the translation status to a specific value. You can change the status value that is used.
No change	Do not change the translation status.

Check Update translation origins if you want that origin property is also copied.

Check Update translation statuses of duplicates after a change if you want that the translations statuses of all duplicate translations will change after changing one status.

Check Update translation review statuses of duplicates after a change if you want that the translations review statuses of all duplicate translations will change after changing one review status.

Check Prompt overwrite message box if you want that Soluling shows a message box before updating the translations or statuses.
