Use this sheet to edit the project options.
Specifies what times values are written into the project file.
Check Create excluded row to create a row for excluded items but to hide them.
Check Store created times to store times when items were created.
Check Store changed times to store times when items were changed.
Check Store translation times to store times when items were translated.
Check Store fuzzy to store fuzzy percent if any when items were translated.
Check Store visual editor data into the project file to store the raw data value of each node. Raw data value is not needed for translation, but it is needed for visual editors or previews. If you want to make the size of the project file (.ntp) smaller and you don't need visual editors, uncheck this. Learn more about how to optimize the project file size.
Check Allow context change to enable smart row tracking in the case the context in the original files has changed. If true, Soluling tries to find the row using the old context and if found updates that row with the new context.
If Exchanged is checked, then the project is in exchange mode. The project was created by Translate wizard or by the Create translation package wizard. When in exchange mode, some features are turned off or hidden.
Check Do not set coordinate rows changed after the original value changes if want that chaning the original coordinates of UI elements does not make the row changed.
Check Set translations status of locked rows complete if you want that status of locked rows to be complete.
Check Use fuzzy matching when finding saved rows if you want that Soluling uses fuzzy mathing when locating rows where the original value and the context value have been changed as the same time.
Check Sort items if you want that the nodes in the project file are sorted. If unchecked the sorting depends on the source type. Note that some item types are always sorted no matter what this value is.
Check Sort rows if you want that the rows in the project file are sorted. If unchecked the sorting depends on the source type.
Check Use installation specific exclude settings if you want to use the exclude settings defined in the application settings. If unchecked, only the exclude settings defined in the current project are used.
Check Encode > and " characters in the project file if you want that > and " characters are encoded in the XML elements of this project file. When checked > character is written as > and " character is written as ". If unchecked both characters are written unencoded. Both ways are valid XML.
Check Save previous data value if you want that Soluling saves the previous row and translation values if they ever change.
Check Store string ids if you want that Soluling saves strings ids. Those ids are used and needed only when using hidden string ids.
A shared item is a resource file that is used in more than one project. For example, the same form might be used in several applications. Soluling can automatically synchronize shared items. Use the following options to configure the shared items' synchronization.
Check After editing if you want Soluling to make sure all shared items (e.g. forms) are translated in the same way. This means that if enabled, editing one instance of a shared form will automatically apply the same changes (translations and coordinate changes) to other instances.
Note! If you check this, and edit any value that is a shared item, then Soluling will overwrite the existing values of other similar items with the one you just edited.
Check When loading or scanning if you want Soluling to make sure all shared items (e.g. forms) are translated in the same way. This means that if enabled, opening a project file, or scanning a project, Soluling will automatically apply the row values of the master shared item to other instances.
Note! If you check this, Soluling will synchronize all shared items once you open the project and if you have two shared items translated in a different way then the second (and third) will be overwritten from the values from the master shared item (usually the first shared item).
Check Write synchronized items to the output if you want that Soluling writes to the output panel every row it synchronizes.
